Indonesian youth have shown resilience and optimism during the COVID-19 pandemic, initiating philanthropic efforts despite high social power distance that exacerbates mental health issues. The pandemic has negatively impacted their productivity in learning and work due to pervasive fear. To address this, integrating fear management and mindfulness practices in schools and workplaces is essential. Recommendations include daily mindfulness practices, mental health education, support for youth-led initiatives, and policies prioritizing youth mental health. These steps can enhance the well-being, productivity, and resilience of Indonesian youth.
